Cross Compatible and stable Navigation Bar in CSS
This is stable, and cross compatible with Netscape with small variations in the padding. This is the one to use. The tabs must be the same fixed width. In order for you to have a choice in widths you need to determine the widest you will need, and I will create the background graphic to accommodate this width with accompanying code. I suggest also that you have 2 other widths prepared with background graphic and code, so that you do not always have to use the very wide width. You can also mix these by using different classes in the same nav bar.
